1) Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program

What is the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program?

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

It gives opportunity to the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries at master’s level, and applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries at PhD level.

 

What is the application deadline for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship ?

  • Opening of the call for applications: week of October 3, 2022

  • Deadline for the reception of applications by Campus France:  January 10, 2023.

  • Publication of results: week of 3 April, 2023

Who is eligible for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program?

  • Candidates must be under 25 years old (born after March 31st, 1997).

  • Sciences Po candidates: Applicants for our two-year Master’s programmes who hold a nationality other than French (please note that dual nationality holders of which one is French are not eligible).

Who is not  eligible for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program?

  • Students already registered at Sciences Po for a Master’s programme as well as at the Undergraduate College

  • Students who already received a grant or scholarship from the French government

  • Students who have previously applied for an Eiffel scholarship and who have been unsuccessful, even if they change their field of studies.

  • Candidates for the 1year Master's programmes

  • Students admitted to a Sciences Po dual degree programme

What does Chevening Offer for the Scholarship Winners? 

 

The Eiffel Scholarship does not cover tuition fees.  Students offered a place to study at Sciences Po who receive the scholarship are therefore responsible for paying the annual tuition fees.

The monthly grant amount for Master's programmes in 2023 is € 1,181, with additional benefits provided (international transport assistance, national transport assistance, insurance, housing search assistance, cultural activities.

The Eiffel scholarship consists of a monthly allowance of €1,181 (a maintenance allowance of €1,031 plus a stipend of €150). In addition, the Eiffel scholarship provides other direct benefits.

 

2)Ampere Scholarship

The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible Masters programs offered at ENS de Lyon.

 

What are the Requirements for Ampere Scholarship?

To be eligible for the Ampère Scholarships of Excellence at ENS de Lyon 2022/23, candidates must:

  • Possess an excellent academic record evident in their previous academic qualifications.

 

  • Have graduated with honors from an accredited university with applicable bachelor's degrees.

  • Depending on the situation, offer documentation of your English or French language skills.

  • Be prepared to follow the guidelines controlling the behavior of university students.

 

What does Ampere Scholarship Offer for the Scholarship Winners?

  • The scholarship is €1,000 per month for 1 year. It is renewable in the 2nd year provided the candidate is selected by the head of the Masters program and validates the Masters Year 1. And it should be noted that the tuition fee is just €243.

 

What is the application deadline for Ampere Scholarship ?

 

The application is not opened for Ampere Scholarship yet, but the deadline will be 16 th of January 2022. So it is advisable to collect documents from 1st of December.
